My scrapbook room

Heres my space.. I don't really do much work here.. too small :-P but its the space I use to collect all my scrapbook supplies.. I'm sure all you scrapbookers out there can relate ;-)

Pretty Door

This is my bathroom door.. I know.. I know.. I must be nuts.. well I am, but I actually think it turned out cute. I did this out of a whim, one day I decided I wanted to do something different while I was taking a bath.... I guess the door was the first thing I saw, therefore the first thing to do!

at Chilis

I think this layout speaks for itself! it was a fun date with the sweetest guy.. We went to Chili's for dinner right before going to an Italian Concert at the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.

Rainbow Falls

This layout was really fun to make!!! the border is chipboard, so I covered it with green paint, then sanded it, distressed the edges with gold paint, and stamped several different designs throughout it. These pictures were taken on our way up to Rainbow Falls at the Smokey Mountains, Tennessee. I think a lot of then could make great screen savers!

Melting Pot

Dean doesn't really like to celebrate his birthday, but I'm like the total opposite way, so its really hard for me when his "special" day comes around cuz I hate to impose presents or activities... it is HIS day after all...so I decided to take him to the Melting Pot for dessert, he LOVES chocolate and I had heard excellent things about theirs... the definitely stood up to our standards!

For this layout I used Junkitz paper, cut all the circles to make the heart and position the pictures kinda like a collage. I also cut some paisley's and arranged them to look like a flower on the lower left corner. The letters were cut by me and doodled as well.

We love you Spidey!!!

So this layout was one of those you buy the paper for before you even take the pictures... we love Spiderman and I knew the movie was coming out so I figured I would take some pictures and and use this cool paper...It worked out great, we ended up going to see it at the IMAX with my parents and had a really good time. I cut the pictures like this for the first time and I was freaking out!!! I'm happy with the way it came out and how it gives the illusion of 3d space.

My name on my door

This was another fun project, I did this with some of my favorite people at a staff crop we had at Angela's house, her husband cut out all of our names out of wood, so we all got together to decorate them with our favorite colors. Of course I used pink and orange :-D.

Towel Holder (?)

To go with my Pink and Orange room, I also have a Pink and Orange bathroom, it apparently pays off to be an only child lol... So I got a white towel holder at target and decided to make it my own by painting it and adding ribbon and flowers.

Pink and Orange Vase

Another decoration for my Pink and Orange room! Got the vase at target and decorated with paint, prima flowers, making memories flower, paper, ribbon and my trusty white pen!

"I miss you" mini project

I hadn't seen Dean in a full week and I really wanted to let him know how much I missed him, so I went and got him "300" the movie, some tasty sweets and made him this little card holder. My inspiration was a Disney photo envelope (the ones they give you when you buy pictures at the park -- Courtesy of Bette) I kinda went ahead and made my own version of it and decorated the front. Velcro was used to secure the flap and different sized cards were placed inside the envelope. I think he was surprised, and happy to know I was thinking of him all week.

Songs that make me think of you...

This was a little something I made for my honey for Christmas. I used a scrap CD for the cover and then cut circles out of card stock for the body. I had a lot of fun making this altered project, and now we both have fun looking through it.

Congrats Card

I made this card for Dean's Graduation. Simple but cute, it kinda opens both ways, a little from the bottom and a whole lot from the top lol.. He just loved his congrats card!

2 and a half years of love!

This book was made out of regular card envelopes (Thanks to Amanda Torres for instructions and inspiration.) It was a lot of fun to make, Amanda, Amy's Amanda, and I went over to Amy's house and worked on it all day... I think we all did a great job. I used pictures I had with Dean since we started going out (Thats why on the cover it says 04 lol) it was fun to remember some of the great moment we had from the beginning of our relationship, and how we had changed. I also used My minds eye - Magnolia for this project.. I love this line!!!

Deja Vu Pre-Screening

Full Sail was giving out free tickets to see Deja Vu's Pre-screening. I'm so glad we got there early.. it was packed! This layout is very simple.. used My minds eye - Magnolia, Hambly rubons and some doodling!

Me and my baby..

I absolutely love this picture!!! It was taken right before Dean's graduation, It was so hot outside, but that didn't stop us from shining bright!! Mostly my baby after he got his diploma and award for his communications class. I'm so proud of him... I think it shows.

Me as a "Cowgirl"

Horseback riding was so much fun!!! I was looking forward to this throughout our whole trip to Tennessee, and let me tell you.. it was worth it!!!! I cant wait to do this again some time! Dean almost didn't come along with me and my dad.. I'm so glad he did, even though "Old Oakie" was slow and stubborn I think he did enjoy the ride.

My much loved paint can
