Ash's Birthday Present

This is something I put together for Ash's 20th birthday present. Everything is mounted on a medium white canvas. I wanted to make something cute and practical she could hang in her room and used daily. She really liked it, hope you do too! :-)

This is a piece I worked on today, I'm really happy with the way it turned out. It was my first attempt to do something like this. I would really like to make a series... we'll see.

This is my final art project.. I took the papers I designed and made a composition! I really like how it turned out... hopefully the teacher will too ;-)

more challenges!

so this is what i did today!! and even though it was cool to get these done.. i am NEVER spending a whole day in my house.. AGAIN!.. those of you who know me.. will understand. I like them cuz they are totally different from each other, and the best part is that now i got 4 layouts for the journal done! Cant wait to do more!

What's your fear?

This the first challenge I've ever done! Its part of my "This is me" journal. I didn't know how to start so I decided to go with something I was definitely sure of... bees freak me out!

Flower Shirt Design

Circle Shirt Design

This is my friend Wynett wearing/holding one of my own designs! how exciting! Scrappy Boutique wanted to carry a shirt that was original, different and had a scrapbook feel... thats when I came into place! It was so much fun designing this shirt, and to be honest it was super exciting and stress free, considering that Stacey (my very first client lol) gave me total creative freedom. I'm really happy with the outcome, and can't wait to see the other design!

We absolutely loved this hotel!!! the view was awesome and the company even better! I wish to have many other opportunities to share something so beautiful with him.

For our 3 year anniversary my baby and I decided to do something different.. so I planned a romantic dinner with candles, a chocolate fountain and tango dance lessons.. we had a really good time, it was different, fun, delicious, and definitely romantic..

Puppies just make you smile!

Dean and I went to the puppy store this morning, we had a blast! Sophia and Krull are just the most adorable puppies ever, it took us forever to decide which puppies we wanted to play with, but for some reason we kept going back to them. Getting a puppy is definitely one of our long-term goals, we both love them - obviously.. lol so hopefully we will be able to get one.. or two... soon. Even though it might not be Sophia, or Krull, they will remain in our memory for being a big part of an important decision that will impact our future... we want puppies... together.

1) I love reading scrapbook magazines, but I don't think I've ever used a layout for inspiration... I dunno why, I always love them but it seems like I never remmy them when I'm actually working on a layout. Maybe I should save some money on those subscriptions lol

2) I hate leaving phone messages, I always feel like I'm gonna say something stupid and its gonna get played over and over again... it's happened. :-S

3) I can not stand the Florida's summer heat.. hate it.. it makes me feel like I don't wanna do anything outside...

4) I love romantic things... dates... actions.. anything that includes my honey...

5) Unlike most people, I don't wanna be rich, have a big house or have no responsibilities. I think life is about making what you have work and be happy with it. I want to be able to live comfortable and afford all that my family needs, I know its not easy, but thats ok with me.

6) People that drink to get drunk piss me off. enough said.

7) many people consider me a mature girl.. perhaps a little too much.. I have gotten the "you act like a mom" comment quite a bit... i dunno how i feel about that lol

Road Trip

This photos were taking sometime within the 12 hours we were driving to Stone Mountain.. It was fun and different.. but unconfy at times lol.. by the way check out the cute car!!! I made it! lol

Just me..

I found this picture in the 1500 lot i had from all the Tennessee pictures.. and I just thought it was so fun! Dean took it spontaneously.. and thats what i love about it.. it just expresses how much fun it is for me to spend some time with him no matter what we're doing.. :-)

My new hair!!!!

This is it... Its so different but so much fun!!!! my hair hasn't been this short in over 5 years so its definitely a challenge lol.. but I love it!!! Fun..Fresh.. and well Short!!!!

Flower Garden

I can't wait to visit again! Next time we'll bring the big camera, sound recorder and video camera.. but we'll do that in winter!!! hopefully there be some bloomed flowers then as well..

New Glasses

He looks so adorable!!!! I cant wait to scrapbook these pictures, my baby had to get glasses :-( but he just looks so cute.. I can't help to love them!.. I think he likes them too!)

I Hope You Dance

Funny story this is.. Dean wanted to take me to ballroom dance class he found online... so I was all excited and up for it!! funny thing is when we got there we realized that it was a senior center and we couldnt find any open doors to go inside.. so we wondered for a little to see if anyone would show up.. and to our surprise some people did... but not people in our age group.. actually not even a little close to it lol.. anyways you just had to be there!! it was so much fun.. but we decided to leave, it was starting to get way too unconfortable.. when we were close to my house my baby told me to pull over next to this lake, next thing i knew we had slow music playing from my car and we were "dancing"! it was so much fun!!!!
